This six week course for anyone interested on glass fusing.
We'll have a mixed group of complete beginners and more experienced fusers, with different abilities.
For those new to the technique, we'll start from the very beginning: This course will introduce you to a range of basic techniques for fusing glass, including cutting, assembing, the use of specialty glasses - including frits and powders and confetti - inclusions, and basic kiln firing schedules. we'll work on a different subject every day and you'll finish the course with a set of samples to prepare you for the next course, where you could design your own glass fused object.
If you have gone though the introduction course, you are ready to come with your ideas/ projects, and we'll give you a hand to trace a production plan, make test, samples, and find the best solution to achieve a profesional finish in your fused projects.
This class is ideal for bringing forward your fusing skills and understanding better how glass behaves in the kiln!
